The Military Bagpipe Band was established in 2002. Since then, the Band has gone on to perform for school functions, such as our annual Founder’s Day parades and National Day celebrations. The Band has also participated in competitions, both locally and abroad, such as the Jakarta Highland Gathering Pipes and Drums Competition and the Boys Brigade Pipes and Drums Festivals.
Members in the Band may choose to develop his skills in one of four instruments – the bagpipe, the snare drum, the tenor drum, or the bass drum. Each type of instrument is equally important in delivering an excellent performance.Learning how to play them may prove to be an unique, interesting and enriching experience.
