Introduction

The 53rd Anglo-Chinese Prefectorial Board
The Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) Prefectorial Board is committed to maintaining its steadfast reputation of excellence. Since 1961, the Board has been serving the school with passion and devotion. Its members undertake duties of a wide spectrum; from daily tasks such as keeping order during morning assembly, to specific roles such as planning and aiding school-wide events like cheerings, special functions and inter-class games. Each prefect’s role is diverse and versatile, reflecting our shared ambition to ensure the flame of the school’s ACSian spirit is everlasting.
We are determined to ensure that the legacy of more than half a century’s work is honored in our achievements. In line with our theme from Romans 12:4-5, we aim to remain united and harmonious within the board while aspiring to achieve greater heights.
The 53rd Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) Prefectorial Board, with a taskforce of more than 90 unique individuals, aims to engage the school more than ever in 2013. Although our influence permeates almost every organization in the school, many still wonder at the workings behind the boardroom doors. Through this website, we hope to introduce you to the numerous systems and structures in our Board, and our hopes for the academic year of 2013
